Nissha was founded in 1929, beginning as a high-quality photography printing company that no one could compete with. With this foundation, we have expanded our product and technology portfolio to the design and function fields. Now, Nissha is leading companies to empower decoration and function by unique technologies like In-Mold Decoration, Heat Transfer Film and Sustainable Products.
With our design engineering and molding and coating technologies, Nissha is expanding environmentally friendly solution and materials such as Sulapac®-woodchip biocomposite material, Pulp Injection Molding, and Metalized Paper. Its unique and superb design products can be used as cosmetics and healthcare product container and packaging with replacing petroleum-based plastics.
Our headquarters is located in Kyoto, Japan. As a subsidiary of Nissha, Nissha USA is supporting customers in North America and South America.

An Overview of Sulapac®
Sulapac® consists mainly of different-sized wood chips and plant-based binders that originate from sustainably managed forests. Sulapac® biodegrades without leaving permanent microplastics behind. The visible wooden particles give the containers a natural look. You can configure the color and size of the packaging according to your needs and use it for protecting balsam, wax or powder.
The Advantages of Sulapac®
Premium look. The integrated woodchips in Sulapac® give it a natural and premium look. Nine color options are also available.
No permanent microplastics. Sulapac was developed with the aim of reducing plastic pollution with sustainable packaging for cosmetics. It can be broken down by naturally occurring micro-organisms, leaving no microplastics behind.
Industrial compostable. Sulapac® materials biodegrade under industrial composting conditions (tested according to EN 13432).
