28g 38 Portola (GLA) PET Preform

What this packaging is

A 38mm Portola (GLA) neck finish sets this preform apart on the production line, ensuring compatibility with standard capping and filling equipment right out of the box. The 28g 38 Portola (GLA) PET Preform is built for high-volume blow molding operations across juice, water, and ready-to-drink single-serving formats. Its cylindrical profile and threaded neck integrate cleanly into existing workflows, reducing line downtime and changeover friction. Made in the USA, domestic brands avoid overseas shipping delays and gain tighter inventory control. For beverage brands scaling production without sacrificing consistency, this preform is a reliable, commercially proven starting point.

Why brands choose this

• Portola (GLA) neck finish means instant line compatibility: The 38mm Portola (GLA) neck finish is one of the most widely recognized standards in beverage packaging, so brands can slot this preform into existing capping and filling setups without retooling or custom equipment investments.
• Domestic manufacturing keeps production timelines tight: Made in the USA, this preform eliminates the lead time variability and customs friction that come with overseas sourcing — a real advantage for brands managing seasonal production cycles or tight retail launch windows.
• Purpose-built format for beverage and RTD growth categories: Juice, water, and ready-to-drink are among the fastest-moving segments in beverage right now, and this 28g preform is sized and configured to meet the single-serving formats consumers are reaching for most on shelf.
