Smooth 53-485 Dual Flap PP Spice Flip Top Cap

What this packaging is

Dual-function dispensing built right into the cap — that's the standout feature of the Smooth 53-485 Dual Flap PP Spice Flip Top Cap from MRP Solutions. This polypropylene closure fits a 53-485 neck finish and includes a built-in sifter alongside a pour flap, giving brands genuine dispensing flexibility for spices, seasonings, specialty foods, and cheeses. Made in the USA, it supports faster turnaround and simpler sourcing for domestic brands. Available in white, black, red, green, yellow, and blue stock colors — plus custom colors for larger runs — with decoration options including embossing, heat stamping, and offset print. PCR content can be incorporated for brands with material sustainability goals. Minimums start at just 850 units, making it accessible for emerging food brands or limited-edition seasonal runs.

Why brands choose this

• Two dispensing modes in one closure: The dual flap design pairs a controlled sifter with a pour opening, so brands don't have to choose one dispensing style — consumers get both, which is a genuine functional differentiator on spice and seasoning shelves where single-mode caps are the norm.
• USA-made with accessible minimums for emerging brands: Manufactured domestically and available from just 850 units, this cap is a practical fit for specialty food startups, limited-edition spice blends, or artisan cheese seasonings that can't commit to high-volume minimums or long import lead times.
• Decoration versatility that supports premium food branding: Compatible with embossing, heat stamping, offset print, tipping, and kiss printing — plus custom color options — this closure gives food and specialty brand teams real tools to create shelf presence without switching to a custom-tooled component.
