TekPak specializes in producing Omnidegradable® bags, pouches, and bottles, setting itself apart with a unique approach to sustainability. What makes TekPak's Omnidegradable® packs distinctive is their independence from water, heat, sunlight, or oxygen for degradation; instead, they rely solely on ever-present microbes in soil or water. The organic additive in TekPak packs reacts with microbes to create an enzyme capable of breaking down the long-chain molecules in plastic into pieces small enough for microbes to consume completely. This process results in the reversion to original elements, leaving behind only water, CO2, and a small amount of organic biomass, all of which are beneficial to plant growth. TekPak's films are shelf-stable indefinitely, and they only react with microbes in soil or water, making them suitable for various environments, including backyard composts, forests, rivers, lakes, oceans, and landfills. This innovative approach ensures a sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solution that aligns with the principles of circular economy and environmental responsibility.
