Smooth 87-Special Straight Sided Flat Threaded Closure

What this packaging is

An 87mm threaded closure with this much coverage and a flat, straight-sided profile is genuinely hard to find — and Calaso's Smooth 87-Special delivers it in glossy black PP with a clean, grip-friendly edge. Designed specifically for the 87-Special neck finish, it seats precisely and seals consistently across a wide range of formats, including body lotion, body scrub, face moisturizer, eye cream, lip care, and hair treatment. European manufacturing means tight dimensional tolerances and reliable QC batch after batch. With an MOQ of just 50 units, it's genuinely accessible for indie brands testing a new container or limited-edition SKU. A large-format closure that looks considered, not afterthought.

Why brands choose this

• MOQ of 50 units — rare at this format size: Minimum orders starting at 50 units make this closure one of the most accessible large-format options available, opening the door for indie brands, concept testing, or limited-edition drops without a significant upfront inventory commitment.
• Precision-engineered 87mm neck fit across six categories: The 87-Special thread spec is purpose-built for a secure, consistent seal — and its compatibility with body lotion, scrub, moisturizer, eye cream, lip care, and hair treatment formats means brand teams can standardize a single closure across a broad product range, simplifying sourcing and cutting component complexity.
• Glossy black PP finish that earns shelf presence: A flat, straight-sided profile in a high-gloss black finish signals intention — the kind of packaging detail that reads as premium on shelf without requiring additional decoration. The ridged grip edge keeps it functional while the clean lines keep it elevated, which matters especially in skincare and hair care where visual cues drive consumer trust at point of purchase.
